Portuguese Square
Portuguese Square (also Mini Lisbon) is the place to delight in the Portuguese culture in Malaysia. Located at the south of the district, Dalbuquerque road, Portuguese Square holds a rich heritage of Portuguese culture with a series of cultural events as well as occasional performances of Portuguese dance and music. This is a good place to enjoy a good meal and enjoy the sunset over the Straits of Melaka.

St. Paul’s Church
St Paul’s Church is the oldest church building in Malaysia and Southeast Asia with 500 years of history. St Paul’s Church was constructed by a Portuguese nobleman, Duarte Coelho, as an act of gratitude to the Virgin Mary for saving his life from a storm in the South China Sea. Located at the summit of St. Paul’s Hill, St Paul’s Church is a beautiful, breezy sanctuary set near the A Famosa ruins and other historical buildings of the Malacca Museum Complex. It offers a spectacular view overlooking the city of Malacca.

Baba Nyonya Museum
Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum is the home of Baba Chan Cheng Siew, whose four generations of the Peranakan family lived in the house before it was opened as a museum in 1985. It offers a glimpse into the richness of the Peranakan culture and is now a World UNESCO Site. The museum is located parallel to Jonker Street Malacca, at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock and Heern Street.

Chen Hong Teng Temple
A visit to Malacca is not complete without a visit to Cheng Hoon Teng Temple. It is located along Jalan Tokong and is the oldest Chinese temple in Malaysia. It is among the most significant temples in Southeast Asia, being a dedication to the vision of Cheng Hoon Teng’s founders and its devotees for its spiritual aspirations in Malacca. Its outstanding architectural restoration that survived the passage of time contributes to it being one of the most notable landmarks in Malacca.

Jonker Street
Jonker Street is the most popular destination in Malacca. Located in the center of Chinatown, Jonker Street has been famous for its rows of antique shops. Today, it is also a heaven for food and craft lovers where they can find unique collections of clothing and crafts, as well as restaurants serving a wide array of cuisines here. It is most loved for its night market every Friday and Saturday, where you will find everything from local delights, street food, craft items to traditional souvenirs.

Melaka Straits Mosque
Melaka Straits Mosque (also Masjid Selat Melaka) is a magnificent building perched on a man-made island named Pulau Melaka. Built on stilts above the sea, the mosque appears floating when the tide is high. Since its completion in 2006, the Melaka Straits Mosque has attracted tourists from all over the world to adore its unique architectural design. The mosque features a 30-metre-minaret which also functions as a lighthouse, a golden dome with blue trims and Malay decorative elements on its exterior building. It offers an awe-inspiring sight especially in the morning and at dusk. .
